About Our Company
We are located just outside of Austin, in the beautiful Hill Country of Central
Texas. Our business started in the spring of 1998 on a small family farm
specializing in producing heirloom crops for local distribution. Tapping Owl, as
the farm was named, strived to use only organic and safe products in the
production of these crops. The SO-EZ brand was developed by Tapping Owl in an
effort to provide our customers and other friends with the effective compounds
we had developed as an alternative to the standard chemicals and poisons
normally used in crop production at that time.
Today Tapping Owl still provides the local area with fantastic tomatoes,
peppers, onions, and other fine vegetables directly from our fields, as well as
flowering plants, all grown using only our own organic and environmentally safe
fertilizers and other compounds. In addition we have built an on-site storefront
for the sale of those compounds as well as a full line of personal products,
deodorizers, cleaners, polishes, disinfectants, pest and insect controllers, and
other items guaranteed to be safe for the environment.
History
SO-EZ brand products began in 1998 as a subsidiary of Tapping Owl Farms, an
organic farming family operation in Central Texas Hill Country. SO-EZ has
expanded from providing only organic fertilizers to developing and providing a
large assortment of cleaners, polishes, personal products, and more for
households and commercial operations around the world.
Future Goals
We plan on expanding our product lines more and more as we discover and develop
new and exciting products through our research teams. Our desire is to help
create a world that does not depend on harsh or toxic chemicals for everyday
applications.
